We would normally file Catherine Zeta Jones under the beautiful-but-ever-so-slightly-boring’ category in the Fashion Police filing cabinet, so when we saw her stepping out in Sydney in this giant shawl thing, we had to do a double take. The dress is certainly a bit of a departure for Catherine "I’ve been known to wear golf sweaters" Z-J, but is it a departure she should be proud of, or should it just keep on departing? Well, we think Catherine would struggle to look bad in anything, really (although she’d probably have her work cut out for her with the drop-crotch leggings we arrested earlier today), but we’re not sure how we feel about this dress, which is why we’re calling on you to help us make up our minds.
What do you think of Catherine’s look here?
I feel like she just tore down her curtains in a fit of rage at her stylist, who wanted her to wear something a bit classier. She proceeded to drape the curtains around her, giving herself no shape whatsoever and without looking out the mirror or brushing her hair, ran out the door still fuming at her stylist. Maybe that’s just me.
Oh, and on the way she realized she forgot her shoes, so she stole Emma Thompson’s.
Well I like it. Although I think she’s a bit too thin and maybe it needs some sort of belt or something, but otherwise not so bad.
Its a difficult dress to pull off. The dress will make any human being look shorter, but her crazy long legs made it work! She should do something about her hair though. Other than that, I think she look gorgeous in that dress!
I think she looks great! But I also think she’s the only person on this planet that can make this frock look great.

I love it! It reminds me of the handkerchief hem thing from while back, and though it is a bit shapeless, I think that it’s nice every once in a while to see a star in something other than skin-hugging clothes.
While I would certainly look like I just threw a blanket around myself if I were to wear it, I think she looks fabulous! And now I’m trying to think of other people who could rock this dress and am having a very difficult time…

I hope she did not waste a lot of money on it as it looks like she just draped a piece of fabric over her body. Her hair looks like she washed it and let it air dry.
Overall, she looks like she is trying to look 30 years old but failing miserably!!
