What to Wear… to the bowling alley: Rihanna’s outfit

Rihanna

OK, OK, we confess: this isn’t actually one of our reader-submitted What to Wear outfits, although if Rihanna would like to submit an outfit, she’s more than welcome to. The point is, though: bowling. It’s pretty damn hard to dress for, isn’t it? And it’s all because of those ugly ass shoes.  Not only do you have to put together an outfit that works with a mannish pair of lace-ups, you also have to allow for the fact that one of them is red and the other one is blue. (WHY?)

Rihanna here, pictured in London last week, has decided to get around the eternal "what to wear to the bowling alley" conundrum by simply embracing the clashiness, and has paired those red and blue shoes with a pair of shocking pink skinny jeans and tight-fitting black shirt. Oh, and she picked a red ball, too, which was at least better than a green or yellow one.

What do you think of Rihanna’s bowling alley look? And, more importantly, what would you wear with a pair of shoes like that?
