Dress of the Day: Lemon pleated collar dress from Miss Selfridge
A dress for drinking Pimms in, while chatting on the lawn at a garden party… Oh OK, maybe not, but we like the vintage appeal of this Miss Selfridge dress all the same – it’s very ladylike, but the sunny colour just saves it from being too granny-ish (or maybe it doesn’t – you tell us…).
Lemon/yellow is back with a vengeance for this summer, and you can pick up this dress for £45. It looks better on the model (doesn’t everything?) who you can see at the Miss S homepage.

I wasn’t sure I liked it until I saw it on the model. On an actual person its stunning. And it doesn’t look as bright as in the picture here. Pretty!
oh my god i want this so much its insane. OH WHY am i a lowly student vagrant?!
Just to add to this, I saw this dress in the store yesterday, and it’s SO much prettier in real life than it looks in this photo. In fact, if I had any excuse at all to wear something like this, it would be hanging in my closet right now!
