Frightening Trends from New York Fashion Week: Camel Toe

Camel toe. We’ve seen it on the celebrities, but we sure didn’t expect to see it on the runways of New York Fashion Week, paraded – nay, flaunted! – as if it was a fashion choice to be proud of. It was, though: Betsey Johnson (left) and Halson (right) both chose these crotch-skimming garments, in matching shades of blue, to include in their shows, and that was just the tip of the skintight iceberg. Katy Rodriguez and Alexander Wang also showed themselves to be big fans of the emphasized crotch, leaving us quaking with terror at the thought of all the fashion criminals we’ll have to arrest next winter if these clothes actually go into production.
