Wedge Sneakers: Will You Be Wearing Them?
We don’t want to alarm anyone unnecessarily, but it looks like the wedge sneaker is going to be a "hot trend" for spring. Because everyone needs to look like Victoria Beckham that time she tried to pretend to be sporty. (Not Sporty Spice, you understand. Just…sporty.)
These shoes are strictly for fashion purposes, obviously. Try playing sports in any of them (especially the gold L.A.M.B ones) and don’t blame us when you end up with a broken ankle, but would you actually wear them? I’ve surprised myself by finding some of these wedge styles relatively acceptable. I could see myself wearing these Rebels ones on a hot summer’s day with shorts, for instance, but I’m still not convinced about the marriage of trainers and heels. Are you?

Um, no. These are sinfully ugly. It’s like a bizarre bastard child that manages to be both ugly AND uncomfortable.
But those Rebels wedges are CUTE, damn! They’re not exactly “trainers”, though. Just adorable.
I like the L.A.M.B ones. I’m now going to sit in a quiet room and think about what I’ve said.
I wish I could sue that designer for naming those fugly shoes Tanya! I feel like changing my name!
I think they are ugly when worn with shorts or anything else that doesn’t cover the whole shoe except for the toe. But for a short girl they are the answer to looking casual yet still retaining some height/elegance in jeans- no one will even know they are wedges- brilliant!
I LOVE those L.A.M.B ones …. crime of fashion maybe, but committing some crimes can be pleasurable!
Well, these shoes are good for short girls. They need some height, and some look like real sneakers only making them taller. I think some are cute!
