We’ve been trying to work up some enthusiasm for the Jonathan Saunders for Topshop collection for a few days now, but we think it’s time to admit defeat. No matter how hard we try, the white dress in the middle still looks like the kind of oversized white t-shirt people sometimes wear to bed (or over leggings in the 1980s), and at £75, it’s a pretty damn expensive night shirt. As for the rest of the collection, well, we haven’t seen it in person yet, so we can’t comment on the quality of the fabrics (can you?), but we’re just not big fans of those prints.
That’s just us, though. What about you? What’s your opinion on Jonathan Saunders for Topshop?

I agree with your opinion of the white dress in the middle. Ick, how shapeless. But the other two are wonderfully funky! I especially like the one on the right.
Definitely a fashion crime!!!
The one in the left and center dresses look like house clothes… and the one on the right looks like a penguin suit! LOL!
your right bout the white one, just so ugly. the tee i wear to bed looks nicer than that.
but i LOVE the one on the right. that is just so hot!
None of them look very flattering. The one on the right could probably be worn by a few people, but it looks hard to pull off. They just look really blah to me.
I hate them all. They look the kind of thing a old alcoholic Mills & Boon writer might wear when they are too pissed to navigate buttons and zips.
All absolutely horrible. very late 80s – early 90s!
