Sharon Stone looks pregnant, wears clashing animal prints

Sharonstone

My first thought upon seeing this photo was "Wow, I didn’t realise Sharon Stone was pregnant!" She’s not, though (or at least, I don’t think so): it’s just a dress with a stomach pouch. I’ll just say that again, in case it didn’t leave you feeling suitably horrified the first time: it’s a dress with a stomach pouch. Marsupial style: it’ll be everywhere this season! Or actually, maybe not…

Aside from the fact that there’s something very wrong about the idea of adding a stomach pouch to your dress, this photo raises a few questions, such as:

1. Is double animal print ever OK?

2. What about if the two prints don’t actually match?

3. Why is she wearing sunglasses indoors?

4. A stomach pouch. Seriously: who does that?

I have another question: Is wearing animal print really that attractive?
The marsupial pouch might make it easier to have a good lunch out, but it looks really bad.
The shoes are an odd choice, too; but top off the strangeness of the outfit in a fitting way.

Sorry to say but leopard print on an “older” woman makes them look like whores… Sharon Stone should stick to basic colours – even lipstick red would be better than this thing… the shoes aren’t even the right print as the dress so look horrible.

First I think the three animal thing is a bit much: leopard, cheetah and marsupial.
Next, I think you can mix different prints as long as the items are smaller and not next to each other. Say a clutch and shoes or a shirt and shoes with pants to separate them.

  5. Alicia says:

I love leopard print so I have nothing against it, but I think it should have either been the shoes or the dress. And considering that the dress has a stomach pouch, she should have gone with the shoes.
And does the fact that the inside of her coat has a plaid lining that’s right up against her animal print dress not bother anyone but me?

  6. Sophia says:

    1) Maybe she needs the pouch to keep some snacks.
    2) Animal print on Animal print is overkill.
