Dress of the Day: Forties style polka dot dress from Oli

polkadotdress Dress of the Day: Forties style polka dot dress from Oli

I know I said I was bored with black yesterday, but when the black in question is accessories with lots of little white polka dots, I don’t think it counts, do you? I love everything about this dress, from the high, boat neck to the nipped-in waist, the frilled hem, and, of course, those polka dots, which are just crying out to be worn with bright red lipstick and matching nail polish. A Gwen Stefani style platinum hairdo would help, too, but I reckon I’ll try and live without it. Not so sure I can live without the dress, though, which is the kind of thing which would be so easy to dress up or down as required, and for £35 from Oli, I think it’s a pretty good deal, no?

  1. This is gorgeous – I have a similar dress from New Look, but it has a V-neck and smaller dots. Needless to say, it is worn very very often :)
