Fashion to break your legs with: Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s pink platform shoes
Some shoes should come with a "Warning!" sign. These are one of those shoes.
These are by Alessandro Dell’Acqua, and are another example of terribly "creative" designs that you just know are going to be completely and utterly useless to anyone who’s looking to actually wear them. Well, if Giuseppe Zanotti can do it, so can everyone else…
These are part of the Spring/Summer 08 collection, and all they lack are little miniature Kate Winslet/Leo DiCaprio dolls standing at the toe shouting "I’m the king of the world!" to complete their resemblance to a very tall, very pink boat. Which, coincidentally, is how your feet will look when you wear ‘em. Who wants a pair?
I have problems with kitten heels… I’d die breaking myself if I had to walk in these – they ain’t even pretty. I wouldn’t risk wearing fugly shoes.
As much as I love pink shoes and heels in general, I’m giving these a big NO!
Maybe I’d appreciate them more if I weren’t 5′10.

Ha, that’s exactly what I thought, glad to see I’m not the only one who recognises the resemblance to a boat!
These have “baby-doll bitch” all over them.
Meg, I’m 5′3 and still wouldn’t be caught dead in these!
