I wonder when Marc Jacobs will name a handbag after me? Oh, that’s right – never. So I’ll just have to make do with ogling the one he’s named after Rihanna, instead. Not that it’s much of a hardship,of course: I’ve read a bit of criticism of this bag over the past few days, but I love it: the cracked metallic finish over soft suede is luxurious without being too ostentatious, and the simple design should stand the test of time. I actually prefer this, cheaper version of the bag ("Cheap" being a relative term here: it’s £16500 at eLuxury) than the larger $2075 version, which has a smoother, blander finish.
