These are very "pre-teen" to me. That means, they're ok if you're in elementary school, and not ok if you're not!
I don't know if you guys realize how awfully unflattering these are on petite girls! They make your legs look fat and stubby.
I'll stick to all-over lace leggings thanks!

I've hated this leggings + skirt (especially denim mini skirts) for the longest. Over time, I've eased up on them. I'm still not legging-crazy. First of all, the look in this post is a fail. Leggings + Converse-like sneakers usually equal fail regardless. There is one look I love with lace-trim leggings: pairing a tunic or shirtdress with [black] lace-trim leggings + some black platform pumps with a chunky heel.
Most other looks with the skirt + leggings usually equal fail, especially with any shoes that aren't ballet flats or pumps (Converses, flip-flops/thongs, open-toe ankle boots, etc.).

If the leggings were black and were paired with some cute black ballet flats they could make a hot look!

Black leggings with a nice skirt/tunic and shoes/boots are very chic. Ugly colors, ugly ragged denim skirts, and exposed buns are ... UGLY. It amazes me that, done right, leggings can be so great, and done wrong, they are so terrible, and that so many choose the latter.

well, i haven't worn any kind of leggings since school. these? might be cute in black, with a denim skirt and a lot of punky accessories. and a pair of bright stiletto pumps.

Without even seeing the rest of the model, I automatically get the impression she has a coldsore and smells of stale piss. Thus us the power of those leggings.

Leggings are BIG in Australia (as in popularity, not size) and they go quite nicely with a mini-dress. Not sure about florescent colours (not generally a fan) but those on black or a similarly neutral colour could be quite good.
