Ha! You thought we’d forgotten our obsession with all things purple, but you thought wrong, for today’s Dress of the Day is this bright purple mini dress by Jill Stuart, which is about as purple as it gets.
There’s a bit of a sixties feel to the empire waist and puff sleeves (not to mention the length), but the shape is narrow enough to be a nice change from all of the tunics and tent dresses that were around last year.

I just love LOOKING at this dress. I can’t even imagine wearing it! But sadly, priced at $425, it is WAAAAY out of my price range. I really am sorry.
