Leggings and unitards are great. Obviously, as with every style, certain body types are not flattered. As others have said, if you’ve got it, flaunt it. Nothing exudes movie star glamor more than spandex in a classy outfit. The grunge look (torn, baggy, or ragged) accessories do not compliment the sleek look of spandex. Wearing just a unitard is a bold and beautiful look for those with great bods; the rest of us unfortunates need to be content covering just a little. Unitards (especially with sleeves) could also be used under a tank or dress.

If every woman on the planet wore nothing but unitards, I would not complain one bit.
Honestly, the only people pressuring women NOT to wear form fitting fashions like this, are other women.

Unitards are hot. When I was little and taking dance classes I remember having to wear one for a recial one time. I loved it so much that my mom couldn’t get it off me. That was in the 80′s, so I always wore it with oversized, torn sweatshirts.
These days I spend so much time working out that spandex tops and shorts or leggings are a regular part of my wardrobe. Unitards just mean that the tank and leggings are connected.
Recently I was visiting family out of state and I stopped at a mall while I was there. I found a black unitard in a department store and though it would make a great halloween costume. I hadn’t worn one in years, but tried it on and thought it looked great on me, so I bought it. The next day I had a four drive back home and decided that it the most comfortable thing I had to wear. It felt great on me and I loved the looks I got when I stopped at a rest area.
With the 80′s look back again, I think I could be buying more of these things in the near future.

Ladies, of course I don’t expect my female collegues to show up in a unitard at work. But for a party for example this is awesome. But without wanting to be descriminating, I think they should not be sold over size 8. And there are probably more wrong cut stretchpants forcing a cameltoe than a proper unitard!
