OK, so yellow isn’t a colour that everyone can pull off – or even a colour that everyone would want to pull off, necessarily – but it’s a colour that I keep finding myself drawn to for some reason, and if I thought for a second that I could wear a bright yellow knitted dress without looking like a cartoon character, this is the bright yellow dress I buy. I love the wide neck and puffy sleeves, and the narrow belt and brooch give it a bit of a retro feel. Wear with black tights and high boots and ignore those who say that yellow is only for the emergency services! (Oh, it’s from River Island and is just £24.99, in case you were wondering.)
WHO can pull off yellow? Not me – especially bright yellow like that.
