There are wide-leg pants, and then there are really wide leg pants. These are really, really wide leg pants – culottes, almost – and they’re making me wonder what you all make of the "trousers that look like a skirt" thing?
For me personally, acres of fabric swishing around my legs always makes me feel like I’m in an 18th century costume drama, so I wouldn’t wear a floor-length skirt, let alone trousers-that-look-like-a-floor-length-skirt, and the high waist will always get the thumbs down from me, no matter how many people try to tell me I’m wrong.
What about you? Would you wear Rachel Pally’s knit sailor pants?

I’d wear the width, I’d wear the length (mostly because I LOVE to feel like I’m in an 18th century costume drama!!) and I’d wear the high waist. It’s the word ‘knit’ that’s putting me off. I can’t help thinking they’d be the most unflattering clingy fabric on the planet.
Yes!! it looks fabulous!!
OK…No matter what, these are ugly!!
I think they are dreadful but I believe they are one of Oprah’s favourite things of 2007!
Oh Jesus Christ no.
I would burn them, if I caught a friend in a pair. And I’ll rarely even comment on what my friends are wearing, if I don’t like it.
I hate skirt-pants. Like those awful gauchos that were popular a few years ago? Blech.
