Dress of the Day: Purple bandeau prom dress from Dorothy Perkins
Yes, it’s another purple bandeau dress. Sorry. It’s getting kind of hard to avoid them at the moment, though, given that purple has been designated as "the" colour of the season by the fashion powers that be.

Dorothy Perkins is a rather nice use of the colour, and I’m loving the nipped-in waist and jewel detail on the bodice. I’m starting to get images of Christmas parties crammed to the rafters with girls in purple strapless dress, though, so if it’s individuality you’re looking for, maybe give this a miss and pick out some other fabulous colour instead.
I love this dress, do you know where I can get it now? I’ve tried eBay and no one seems to be selling it anymore.
