I was in two minds about this Marc Jacobs dress. It was either going to be a crime of fashion or a dress of the day, and I think that more or less sums it up, actually: it’s one of those "love it or hate it" items, but it’ll definitely get noticed.

In the end I decided to make it Dress of the Day, partly because it looks a lot better on the model, and partly because I think it’s really rather fabulous. I’m just not convinced how comfortable it would be, though: it’s all very well dressing up in a work of art, but I wonder if all those pleats around the bust would start to get annoying after a while?
