I guess when you’re a luxury fashion brand, one of the worst things that could happen to you at the moment would be to find yourself associated with the train wreck that is Downward Spiral Britney.

Louis Vuitton definitely don’t want to be associated with Brit: in fact, they’ve just been awarded 80,000 euros in damages from the singer, whose new video for ‘Do Somethin” contains unauthorised footage of a pink Louis Vuitton fabric.

The ruling does, however, acknowledge that the fault lay with Sony BMG and its subsidiary Zomba, not with Britney personally, so maybe she’ll get to keep her cash.
