Keep or Chuck: Emily’s John Richmond print dress

Printdress Dear Fashion Police,

I bought this John Richmond dress from Debenhams during the summer, but ended up never wearing it because I could never find anything to go with it. I’m having a big clear out and can’t decide whether to keep it or chuck it out. What do you think? ~ Emily

Well, personally I’d say chuck it – it’s a great shape, but it’s a little bit too clashy-McClash for my liking, with the combination of different prints threatening to overwhelm it. Plus, if you haven’t worn it in months you probably never will, so it should be eBay or Charity Shop bound by now!

That said, I’m not a fan of print dresses anyway, especially in cases where more than one of them is used on the same piece, so I’m probably not the best person to ask about this particular dress. To settle the matter once and for all, then, I’ve created a whole new feature just for you: it’s called Keep or Chuck, so let’s see what our readers have to say on the matter!

Do you have something burning a hole in your wardrobe that you’re not sure whether to keep or chuck? Send us a picture of it and let us decide for you!

I’d say chuck it, just because of how long it has been around without being worn. It ends up being a waste of closet space. May as well send it on to a new owner that may actually get some use out of it.

Keep it for next summer and wear it with cork wedges :)

I said keep it but, she could chuck it my direction. I would so wear that. I love it.
