Jackie O Fashion: Chic tailoring from Wallis

Jackieofashion

Even although I have absolutely nowhere to wear a suit like this, I’ve been admiring it ever since the images dropped into my inbox on Friday night, and imagining how someone like Jackie O would have totally rocked that boat-necked jacket and tailored skirt. It has a real retro look to it, which really appeals to me, even although I’d probably feel like a little girl playing dress-up in her mother’s clothes if I tried to wear it. It looks like it’s crying out to be worn with a hat and seamed stockings, but I’d probably try and jazz it up a little with some spike=heeled knee boots, just so that I didn’t look too much like a character in a 1960s sitcom. Love the matching gloves, though – the perfect finishing touch.

All three pieces are from Wallis, where the jacket is £65, the skirt is £35 and the gloves are £18.

OMG! The suit is amazing! I like the way you’ve put it with the gloves too : )
