Ever since we opened the floodgates with those high heeled handbags earlier this week, the ugly bags have just come flooding in on an unstoppable tide of fug.

Take these sock purses, for instance. Now, you may not think these even qualify as a crime of fashion. In fact, you may even be thinking they’re "cute". I don’t think they’re cute. In fact, I can think of few things worse than reaching into my handbag or coat pocket and pulling out … a sock. This is because I have a "thing" about socks. Oh sure, I except that there are times when socks just have to be worn, but that doesn’t mean I have to like them. And I don’t. I don’t like them on feet, and I definitely don’t like them when they’re fashioned into coin purses.

No, not even when they have a "handbag" design on them to remind us of their freaky dual purpose…
