Crime of Fashion: Steve Madden’s ‘Iditarod’ sock boots

fashioncrime Crime of Fashion: Steve Maddens Iditarod sock boots

OK, Steve Madden, here’s the thing: most of us wouldn’t even wear those socks AT ALL – either with those shoes or with anything else really. So what on God’s green earth made you think we’d suddenly be all over them like a rash if you turned them into a pair of boots?

You know how we feel about boots that look like socks, Steve. I think it’s perhaps time you stuck to what you do best – mericlessly ripping off Christian Louboutin and Miu Miu – though, and leave the ugly shoes out if it, whaddya say?

  1. I think these would look nice if you were to roll the sock down to the ankle…it depends on the way you wear them–wearing them all the way up would be horrible.

  3. Hi,
I happen to really like these boots and according to the feedback I’ve received a lot of ppl do too. I respect your opinion but I just wanted to correct you on one thing. These boots weren’t designed by Steve Madden, the brand is called Luichiny and the name of the shoes is the Annabel Sweater Boot.

    Thanks
