Oh, those 1980s! Sometimes it feels like they never went away, especially now, when so many of the high street fashion stores seem hellbent on bringing them back to us. Miss Selfridge’s Vintage Collection is where you’ll find these little beauties: a gold and black lace prom dress and the classic 80s polka dot ra ra skirt. The dress in particular features that oh-so-eighties V-shaped waistline, which is a particular bugbear of ours (Topshop’s Star Dress has one too), but we’re guessing you might just be able to get away with this, with the right hair and shoes (i.e no back-combing and no pointy 80s stilettos…).
