I think they’re ugly, subculture or no subculture.
I think platform shoes are fine, but the square toe just makes it look so clumsy! And the buckles look pretty cheap too. I’ve seen similar ones that looked much more attractive, with a daintier toe and better quality material.

I think the ones on the right are a little much. (The pattern anyway) But I really like the ones in the middle. (I love gothic lolita type stuff) And the ones on the left would go with the music lolita dresses. Probably with white knee length socks with white frills edged in black ribbon. A white with black detail hair bow. It would probably look cute.

I actually really like them. You just have to wear them with the right stuff. They’re deff. not for everyone, though.

These shoes are not made for mainstream fashion. They are mainly aimed at the gothic lolita subculture and are very popular at camden market.
(for those whose dont know what Lolita is type it into google)
They are really comfortable and do not look like clown shoes. The picture does not do them justuce.
Crocs and Uggs are bad footwear for any subculture… these are not.

I dont know I think they are actually very cute…well at least if you wear them with the right clothes.
