On Trial: L.A.M.B’s twist-t-bar Oxford pumps

saddleoxfords On Trial: L.A.M.Bs twist t bar Oxford pumps

You know that feeling when you’re putting on your tights of a morning and you get the gusset all twisted? That’s what these L.A.M.B Oxford pumps remind me of. I know it’s purely a mental block, but I just can’t get past the idea that twisted things = uncomfortable, and it’s the one thing that’s stopping me loving them unreservedly. If only the t-bar was just a little more to the left. If only the phrase "getting your knickers in a twist" didn’t pop into my head every time I look at them. Ah, if only…

Whaddya think?

  1. You know, these are the first pair of Oxford pumps I’ve liked and would actually wear. I have very high arches and a prominent bone on the top of my foot, so some shoes put pressure on the bone and T-strap would probably go across that bone oddly. These look like the strap would actually fit well. Too bad they are out of my price range. :)

  2. If you look closely you can see that there is another T-strap on the other side. It’s kinda cute, but I would like to see more of the shoe before making a decision

  3. Actually I don’t think they are t-straps at all, I think they have two straps. They’re cute but they’re sort of busy too aren’t they? I think the cuteness of oxford pumps lies in their classicness and simplicity. Plus: I don’t like Gwen Stefani. Otherwise I can totally see them looking really cute with black tights.
