If You Wannabe My Fashion Icon: Dita Von Teese and Victoria Beckham at Paris Fashion Week

Now here’s an  interesting fashion pairing: one true fashion icon and one wannabe, side by side at the Chanel Show, Paris Fashion Week. Actually, I love Victoria’s green dress which is simple, chic and a gorgeous, jewel colour, and Dita looks suitably 50s style – although there is something of the "recently exhumed" about her, too, with that white, white skin of hers. Morticia Adams clearly has a long-lost sister in Dita. These two sat next to each other at the Chanel show: who do you think looked best?

  1. I think they should switch outfits. Maybe it would actually look quite nice…..
Otherwise, I’m inclined to say Posh looks better, the colour of her dress is quite interesting.

  2. Rare as it is, I think Posh looks really good! But Dita will always be my favourite – she is so original. Loving the green frock though – what an unusual and vibrant colour, and how well it suits her skin tone!

  3. I tend to dislike black dresses, simply because I feel
they are incredibly repetitive in all ways possible
and therefore somewhat unoriginal, especially if a number of accessories aren’t included.
. . The fact that Dita Von Teese is stark white doesn’t help either . .
It might just be the spring setting in over here
in Australia, but I love the green tone. The shape would also be flattering on a number of body sizes
(IE: not _just_ your average ‘skeletal’-like individual) and skin tones.
