I have no idea how this happened, but I’ve somehow managed to go through my entire life until now in complete ignorance of the fact that Karen Millen has an online store. Now that I know about it, though, I kinda wish I’d never discovered it, because I can already tell that that this is going to be expensive. I’ve fallen hard for this apple green satin dress, which checks almost all of the boxes to make it my ideal dress: it’s green, it’s a little bit unusual, it’s completely freaking gorgeous… you know the kind of thing.
I could probably live without the puffball shape, which I’d prefer to see left in the 80s, where it belongs, but it’s subtle enough here for me to be able to overlook it. If you can, too, this little beauty will set you back £140.
