It gives a nice and free feeling. It makes your legs longer and gives your silhouet an elegant look.

I like them that long. It gives them more volume and a certain elegance.Like an old fashioned sweeping dress. I wear mine like that and you really know you are wearing something full when they drag

I like them sitting / dragging on the ground. It's a liability to have pants that drag. I am 5' 2" with really short legs, and no matter what pants I wear they drag...this is not good for fall, because if it rains, water soaks right up the leg! It makes me instantly cold.
Besides, if they are that long, how can you show off cute shoes?

Wide pants are better than skinny jeans, but that long? But on a serious note, what is the point in owning pretty shoes if you're not going to let people catch a tantalising glimpse of them??

Show a little shoe – always show a little shoe. I can't imagine those pants would last very long, it seems as if the combination of dragging along the ground and possibly stepping on them could lead to some pretty nasty fraying. And who wants to wear wide-legged nasty-bottomed jeans?
Waste of money!

I think she looks like a street sweeper- those pants are too long!<br

Also, I don't much care for the wide-legged pants in denim. I think they're sort of the pants equivalent of a pencil skirt: always attractive professional attire, but in denim? Not so much.

The above poster is right, your pants really shouldn’t touch the ground, and there’s nothing to make any woman in the world look stumpy like a pair of pants that cover her feet.<br

Katherine's pants are tooo long. Look at her back leg, your pants should never EVER drag on the ground.

I personally like my pants long enough to hit the top of my shoe if that makes sense. I’m 5’7.<br
