Crime of Fashion: Acid Wash Jeans

acidwashjeans Crime of Fashion: Acid Wash Jeans

Continuing our trip back in time to the 1980s, I see that 7 for All Mankind are stocking acid wash jeans. I’m not sure if this is the same as the "marble wash" jeans I myself used to own back in the day, but I do know that I have no love at all for it. Even if we ignore the fact that the jeans shown above are too short for the model (Unless, of course, they’re supposed to be flood length, in which case it should say so on the website), they’re just too retro trashy for my taste. These need to make up their minds – are they grey or are they white. If they’re grey, I can live with them; if they’re white – not so much. If they’re acid wash, though? Not at all.

  1. I love these jeans, I just bought a pair myself, but you have to choose the right things to pair them with or it could mean disaster.
