		<description>Actually, for those of us who are older, we wore stirrup pants back in the sixties!  But, just in case you are unaware, they do serve a purpose and that is to keep pants down when worn with boots which is why they have been revived and is the only way I wore them in the 80&#039;s!
As for the photo of &#039;stirrups&#039; you have well I agree; those are for dance class only.
