On Trial: Fruity feet – Quai D’Orsay Cocktail Gold Canvas and Leather Pump Shoes

Fruitshoes

So, it’s summer and you’re looking for a suitably summery outfit. Well, what could be more summery than a pair of stilettos with great big chunks of fruit plastered all over them, I ask you? Not real fruit, I hasten to add. No, the orange and strawberry slices on these ‘cocktail’ pumps  are strictly for show, but what do you think of them? I’m normally firmly against anything that could be called "novelty" dressing, and I think these fall into that category. But then, I suspect some of you might prefer to describe them as "fun" and "quirky". So, what side are you on?

I’m not a fan of pointy shoe tips but I do like these pumps a lot! They’re fun :)

  2. Kasmira says:

I think it depends how their worn. They’d be fun and cute with a relatively simple dress, but definitely novelty dressing if worn with Carmen Miranda’s costume.

  3. Kasmira says:

Edit: “how they’re worn.” I’m not completely illiterate. :)

    OMG.
theyd really go well with a suit with fruit on aswell…..
then youd be classed as ‘BLIND’
