You have to hand it to Tyra Banks, this dress is certainly… um… eye-catching. It would be hard to miss her, anyway, let’s put it that way. What I’m wondering, though, is whether it’s worthy of the title Crime of Fashion, or whether we’re just being mean in thinking Tyra here looks like the Sugarplum Fairy gone wrong. Maybe it’s just that creepy, dead-eyed look she’s got going on here that’s to blame. So, whaddya think, folks? Crime of Fashion or Fabulously Fashionable? You tell me…
I think I’d love it – or, well, like it well enough – if she wasn’t channeling a zombie and her hair looked like she’d made some kind of effort.

I think the color and the bodice was a good idea, but it’s the bottom half that just went wrong. And boy did it go *really* wrong.

I would have given it a thumbs up, IF she had chosen a different colour. The way the dress is now everything is just different shades of brown/copper: her hair, her skin, her lips, her dress… too matchy for my taste. And on top of it all it clashes with the carpet. (Seriously: Why do people who know that they’ll be spending time and being photographed on a RED carpet wear colours that just don’t go with red?)
I actually like the cut of the dress, though.
