Oh no, say it ain’t so! I normally love Drew Barrymore’s style, but she clearly doesn’t read The Fashion Police (shame on her!) or she would know that socks with sandals are one of the biggest fashion crimes going.
Nevertheless, that’s what Drew here appears to be wearing, and unless I’m very much mistaken, those are no ordinary sandals, but are Birkenstocks. Birkenstocks. Now, I know I’ll probably come up against some opposition here, but I just don’t get Birkenstocks. Yes, I know those who wear them are always all, "But they’re just SO comfortable!" but you know what? I SO don’t care. The same argument is used for Crocs, and you know how we feel about Crocs…
Love ya, love your blog, but the Birkenstocks with sandals? It’s a California thing. Maybe I just did too much acid back on the Haight in the ’70s, but I think Drew looks cute.
