Crime of Fashion: The C String

CstringAnother Fashion Police Facebook find for you, folks. This is the C-string, and I don’t know about you, but it’s scaring the bejeus outta me.

The makers of the C String say it’s idea to wear with trousers, dresses – even swimwear. Yes, swimwear. We say it’s so butt-clenchingly horrible that we’d rather just make do with the VPL, thanks very much. I mean, seriously – people are wearing these on the beach? In which country?

It’s available from Lovehoney.co.uk., whose lingerie expert comments:
"With temperatures already soaring,
C-String is the hottest way to keep cool
this summer. As well as beinsexy, elegant and completely unique, it is
also the nearest to naked a woman can get without going commando."

Sexy? Elegant? We’ll give them "unique" because it’s certainly that, but be honest, guys: would you wear a C-String?

Dear god! I was wondering how the hell does this stay in place? On the website these pictures attempt to show you
    http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=11481
Although I still can’t possibly imagine it not falling out when you walk. You’ll probably have to walk with your butt cheeks clenched together, lol good luck women of the world.

I am blinded by the sight of that thing. If it just me or does it look like a weird looking headband? I feel bad for the girl posing the those pictures. Probably can’t even move an inch or else it will fall off or rub them the wrong way!

  4. Nina says:

Ohmigod, this… this looks like pantyliners without the panty! Why for the love of god would anybody want to wear that!!??? And how sick have you gotta be to invent something as creepy as this?

  5. Anonymous says:

whahahahah that looks like she’s having a period and no pantees on…=.=

  6. Carol Bristow says:

I first tried the C-string at the end of June and I must say that at first it did feel dreadfully insecure, so much so that I did not wear it outside of the house for a few days. Once I was confident that it was not going to fall off I started to wear it to work, under trousers at first and later under a skirt or dress. Now that I feel confident and comfortable wearing it I am happy to wear it anywhere and under anything.
Putting one on is not at all difficult, simply slip into place and adjust its position for comfort.
They may not be for the obese, but for those of us who are happy wearing thongs I can see no reason not to wear them. I have not tried swimming in one yet and I am not sure that I would in a public pool, but I would happily sunbathe in one if we ever get a summer.
I now have several C-strings in my underwear drawer and wear them as I would any other pair of knickers.

  7. We are selling lots of these – but can see how some people would raise their eyebrows. You can see some testimonials and pictures at: http://www.c-string.co.uk if you are interested.

  8. Fran says:

It looks like dirty pantyliner meets fire crotch.

  12. SusanB says:

I don’t see what is so scary about it. There is a video you can watch with the C-String here:

  13. matt says:

I hear the other man about them making the c string for men, and I’m a straight man too. Anyway, it may have to be a half inch to a full inch larger in the front, for obvious reasons. And please people, don’t say it would be weird for men to have these too, nothing is ever said about what a woman wants to wear, after all, it’s not like anyone would ever see it!

  14. randy rascal says:

They are an unusual product but sell realy well.take a look at our products http://www.randyrascals.com/index.php?cPath=77_93

  15. TWL says:

I notice that the ladies that have not tried wearing one are critical of them. However once tried they buy several. I think they are sexy and I have ordred one for my wife. When they began to manufacture them for men, we will have a matching pair. Although Germany and France have nude beaches, there are those that require a bottom. This will be the answer.

Yi-i-ke! and one hell of a pantie tan

  18. Miss Q says:

After seeing this, I’m not sure if I’ll ever be frightened by something else again. Powerplant disaster? Swine flu? Killer zombies trying to break down my door? Meh, I’ve seen worse…

  19. I’m a straight man. I wear thong underwear, because they’re THE most comfortable cut to me, especially on the hot Florida days. I’d definitely try the CString if they make the male version. What have you got to lose? 20 bucks? I lost that much when I found out I hated boxers. No big deal.
