Cheap Ugg boot alternatives on sale at ASOS

UggbootalternativesFolks, I have a shocking confession to make: I am considering buying a pair of Ugg boots for winter. Yes, I know we’ve talked about this before. I know most of you think “Ugg” is short for “ugly”, and there was a time when I would have agreed with you, wholeheartedly.

Like I’ve said before, though, the world of fashion is fickle, and I think repeated exposure to Uggs has taken the edge of their ugliness and made me start to quite like them. (No, Britney, that doesn’t mean that repeated exposure to your ass will make it acceptable) . Sort of like what happened with me and skinny jeans, really.

Anyway, I know most of you will want to send me straight to fashion jail for this misdemeanor, but those of you don’t might be interested to know that these sheepskin boots by Emu are down to £48 in the ASOS sale. They’re “As worn by Paris Hilton”, so that must make them OK, no? No? Hey, where’d everyone go?

Well as I type I’m wearing my much loved ugg boots (well it’s winter downunder so I figure it’s allowed).
There is only one rule to remember with Ugg Boots.
Fine inside your own home but step outside and they are SLIPPERS!

You are so weak willed. PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND STEP AWAY FROM THE UGGS!

  3. Kerry says:

It’s true Cellobella, they are slippers and should be worn for practical reasons only. And only INSIDE the house. Heaps of boots are comfy and warm as well as not an eyesore – there’s no excuse!

Same problem with me, I used to hate them and now I want a pair of my own. There are some cute ones at Walmart, but they just aren’t the same. I totally know how you feel!
