The ‘Dress Like a Toddler’ Trend

_5347443 Now, this isn’t going to be yet another, "GOD, I hate dungarees" post (although I totally do. Hate them, that is), and OK, even I can see that the shirt is cute, but… does it strike anyone else that this woman is dressed like a little boy? Why is that, do you suppose? Why would a grown woman want to look like a toddler? (Other than the fact that Nordstrom told her to, that is? )

It’s a strange one, although as I say, I can totally did the shirt. It’s just pairing it with the kiddie pants that really doesn’t appeal to me somehow…

  1. Do you hate all denim jeans or just overalls?

  2. Terry says:

She not only looks like a little boy but she also has that silly look on her face that the blond girl from UGLY BETTY is always pulling.
    What a strange combo!
Also those pockets that hang over the hem line are just pointless, if you put any sort of tools in them they are just going to be constantly whacking against your bare skin. That is just not sensible!

  3. Amber says:

Ella – it’s just overalls, I’m afraid: I have a stange, and probably irrational dislike of them. I LOVE jeans, though – practically live in them!

  4. Lydia says:

LOL I can’t picture anyone in real life dressing like this. If I wore this crap I would look so mental. hahaha
