On Trial: Gil Carvahlo shoe boots from Faith

Gilcarvaloforfaith

Now, I know big, clumpy shoes have been around for a while now, and they don’t seem to be going anywhere fast (just like you won’t be going anywhere fast when you try to walk in them), but I’m wondering now what people actually think of them? Take these clodhopping shoe boots by Gil Carvalho for Faith, for instance. Personally I think £125 is a lot of money to make yourself look like your feet have been supersized (you want fries with that?), but then it was my birthday at the weekend – am I just showing my age?

They are rancid ugly and clearly made by someone jealous of those of us blessed with small feet. Fact.

They are awful, and paired with those damn skinny jeans make tall people look like they have “raptor” legs as I like to call them XD

Ok, these ones are horrible. BUT check out the other ones by Gil Carvahlo, they are truely amazing! I own three pairs of the platforms ones and they do not make your feet look huge (the opposite if anything) Think about it, the heel is soo high it gives the illusion of smaller feet. I love Gil Carvalho but the ones you are talking about really are nasty. Check out a pair called ‘Lia’, they are simply beautiful.

By the way, you can get some nice promotion as well…
