On Trial : Does Britney Look Better Bald?
Now, I know it’s probably a cry for help and alll, but here’s the thing: I don’t actually think Britney’s bald ‘do’ looks too bad. It’s got to be better than the skanky, half-assed extensions she’s been wearin’ lately, and it’s way better than the "greasy pony tail on top of the head" look that she’s had for … oh, years now. And, you know, she’s got a pretty face, the hair was a mess – the baldness is growing on me here. So, what do you think? Drop us a comment, or vote in the poll on the sidebar…
You know, as much as it pains me to say it, since Britney is the quintessance of cheese and of late a veritable poster child for, ahem, “bad choices” (okay, telling it like it is, she’s been a walking disaster area), maybe there’s hope for her yet.
For women, cutting off their hair — or even shaving their heads — can be a gesture of independance.
Hair is such a powerful symbol of cultural expectations. Think of the uproar in the ’60s when young men started growing their hair out.
Now it could be that Britney’s just a lunatic acting out randomly, but wouldn’t it be great if she’s acting in a purposeful way to reclaim her power and her control of her own life?
The fact that she went into rehab could speak to that.
I’ve never been a fan of her or her music, but if she’s ready to grow up, I give her props for that.
Oh, and yeah, I think she doesn’t look half bad bald.
There’s something powerful about an attractive bald women — think Demi Moore in GI Jane.
She might not have the right skull shape to pull it off permanently, though.
But here’s hoping we see a stronger, more focused Britney in the future.
Now she looks like a homeless person! A much-needed improvement from the hairy-homeless-person look that she was sporting before.

hello i think all through britneys life she has gone from bad to good hair styles but her shaving her hair of is not good i like her better with hair but shes a very attractive lady who went through a bit of trouble but getting her self back on top and living her life in fun .She very regrets shaving her hair but realises it grows back .
